Leah and Dorian | Coeur d’Alene Idaho Photographer

Lake Coeur d’Alene is one of Idaho’s crowned jewels. Making it one of the best places for weddings of any kind (elopement, intimate, and more traditional and classic) in Idaho. Between the beaches of Coeur d’Alene, countless hikes run through lush Idaho forests such as Tubbs Hill. As well as some of the best creatives to make your vision come true, it’s hard to imagine a better place to get married.

Leah and Dorian first reached out to me at the beginning of 2020. They were looking to get married in the middle of town in Pullman, Washington. Where they planned to have a full-blown wedding full of countless guests, dancing the night away, and the whole wedding shebang.

But then COVID hit, and everything they had been planning for had to be changed. From the date to the venue to how many people, every day there was a new change that needed to be made. But Leah and Dorian kept their spirits high. After deciding to get married this year in 2020 (COVID-19 be damned) they got to work to create the best plan B of a day possible.

And best plan B possible is exactly what they achieved. Set on a boat at sunset on the Coeur d’Alene Lake in North Idaho, they surrounded themselves with their closest friends and family members. As well as just a handful of vendors to make this plan B so dreamy, Leah and Dorian said “I Do” and became husband and wife. The sunset that followed was BREATHTAKING (check out the photos below!!!) where we did golden hour photos before dancing the rest of the night away with those who had joined them for their special day.
