Washington Coast Elopement Photographer | Adventure Bridals Session
I’ve been dying to go to Cape Disappointment on the Washington coastline for years and when the opportunity came up to get to create some magic at this iconic Washington State Park I jumped right on it.
Over this last year, before COVID-19 was even a thing here in the United States, I had started diving into a rebranding of my business. This year marks four years of being in business. I’ve photographed everything from big posh golf course weddings to tiny elopements on the top of a mountain. It’s with those four-years of experience (as well as my home life-changing as my two children continue to get older) that I’ve truly begun to discover which direction I want to go with Heather Woolery Photography.
I knew from the get-go of my rebranding I wanted to make a brand video. Something that would show my couples what it’s like to work with me and a little insight into who I am as a person. But when COVID-19 hit, my styled shoot for the video in the Oregon mountains had to be canceled and thus’ putting this project on the back burner.
Five-months later, I was heading to the Seattle area for an elopement. I reached out to a handful of creatives and some of my friends to see if I came a day early if they’d be down to get funky and meet me at Cape Disappointment to create some magic. Everyone jumped on board so fast and the planning began.
