FAQ - Showit Blog

I’m all about letting go of the need for “perfection” and instead, embracing the honest and raw “ordinary” moments, turning them into visual and tangible heirlooms for you to carry. I specialize in capturing more intimate weddings and elopements all over the world, and not only being your photographer, but also travel guide and friend along the way. I am here to serve you and make sure your wedding day is an unforgettable experience.

I am NOT Sears Portrait studio; it’s just the plain and simple!

Frequently Asked Questions

I send an online invoice for both the retainer and any remaining monthly payments. You can pay either with debit or credit card. *There is a 2.9% card service fee for every transaction added.

q: HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT?

No. This fee holds your date to insure I do not book another wedding on that particular day. If you choose to go a different direction, your retainer is not refundable to cover any financial loss for reserving that date.

q: IS THE RETAINER REFUNDABLE?

The first step is to fill out the inquiry form below. From there, you can expect an email from me within 48-hours! That email will include a pricing guide, any custom quotes that you may need and any other info you’ve requested. After that we’ll hop on a phone or FaceTime phone call and I’ll introduce myself on an even more personal level and we’ll talk about alll the plans and ideas you have for your wedding or elopement. From there, I will send over a contract and a retainer via email for you. Once you’ve signed the contract and paid the retainer, you are officially booked and pop the bubbly!!!!

q: HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?

No. But unless you purchase the ownership rights to photographs (you DO gain printing rights when booking with me), I, as the photographer & creator will have full ownership rights of the photos and will share some of my favorites from your day. I do respect privacy and no nudity or “R” rated photographs will be shared on my social media accounts. However, showing and sharing my work with future brides, like yourself now, helps me book more clients, as it allows them to envision their own wedding and how it may look with my style of photography.

q: DO YOU POST EVERYTHING YOU SHOOT ONLINE?

Prints and photo books are “add on” options. You will have the ability to order prints directly from me once you’ve received your online gallery. Photo books are an ala carte option.

q: CAN WE ORDER PRINTS OF YOUR IMAGES OR DOES THAT COST EXTRA?

I currently live in North Idaho (6-miles from Washington, 2-hours from Canada). I’ve got custom packages that are tailored to serving the Inland Northwest and Idaho. I absolutely travel outside of Idaho for weddings and elopements. You can find me often all around the Pacific Northwest as well as all over the United States and around the world.

q: WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? DO YOU DO NON-IDAHO WEDDINGS

Each gallery depends on how many hours I am there, if you have a second photographer, weather etc. however couples’ sessions minimally get 75-high res images and 6-hour weddings minimally get 500-high res images. I don’t have a cap on how many photos I deliver, meaning if I have 600 good images, I will deliver all 600-images.

q: HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU INCLUDE IN YOUR GALLERY?

The quick answer is no. I only deliver edited images to all of my couples. My editing is a massive part of my style and the service that I provide all of my couples. This whole experience is about trust, and I promise you I will deliver everything important from your session or wedding that tells your story.

q: DO YOU DELIVER RAW (UNEDITED) IMAGES?

I don't photoshop any of my clients or they're guests in any of the images. As I consider myself a documentary styled photographer, I don’t use flash clips very often if at all, I don’t over saturate my images while I’m editing, and unless it’s a temporary zit, I don't use photoshop. I’m here to capture and celebrate you and your authentic truest selves, not create an unrealistic or fake appearance. I truly believe everyone is beautiful and worth celebrating and doesn’t need photoshop to look good.
